Default Hello

I've recently acquired ccx33426 and I'm a new member.I have a couple of questions if anyone could assist I would greatly appreciate it.
I would like to find a build manual. Are they available?
I need to replace my slave cylinder. The existing model is a Gerling 812? Does anyone know the availability of this?
The car doesn't have seatbelts. Are there specific models that work best? Are there mounting plates?
I would like to add a roll bar. Availability? Installation directions?
Are there any shows happening in eastern Pa this summer?
Thanks in advance for any input.

I have the manual I can email to you. Nick Acton can dial you in on whatever else you need.

Congratulations on your purchase. I also have a Contemporary and Nick Acton has done a lot of great upgrades for me: quick jacks, roll bar, seat belt anchors, aluminum gas tank, correct dash, dropped pedal box, aluminum fender liners and the list goes on...

As far as shows, even though they are not in PA, if you can make either of these, you will see a lot of Cobras:

Congratulations. To quote a not so famous novel, "The Adventure Begins". Some good answers to your questions so far. Check with Nick. He has all of the answers.

I have a slave cylinder and mounting bracket as well as the original rollbar. PM me. There is a weekly car show at the Amish Market in Shrewsberry, PA. A HUGE cruise is held on Saturday nights in Glen Burnie, MD. at Marley Station. You should think about installing a 5 point harness and you will need mounting points
You should consider getting a Wilwood slave cylinder and have a bracket made that mounts the unit straight. After replacing 3 Girling units, I went to Wilwwod. No more replacements.
David

"Work" There's that word again. I wish some folks would clean up their language.

Hi David, nice talking to you and welcome aboard. Time to get that beauty out of mothballs and get it finished and on the road.

I was finally able to order the right size gasket (fingers crossed). I never imaged there'd be so many possible sizes. Anyways, they're here, I'm supposed to go to a buddy's garage this week to replace them. Everything is dependent on his schedule, but to me, that's better than leaving it at an unknown garage to be worked on. Thanks for asking.
