Default Steering Wheel Replacement

I'm looking to replace the Contemporary wood rimmed steering wheel with a leather wrapped one. From the build info furnished when I bought the car it shows a MGB steering column was supplied with the frame. The mounting bolt spacing on the steering wheel measures 62 mm or just under 2.5 inches. This does not compare with any current wheel manufacturers dimensions so it looks like I need a new hub adapter. Splines on the steering shaft measure .75" and looks like 48/50 splines.

Anyone have any info on making a steering wheel swap based on the above info?

Thanks

Mine is an 11and 1/2 inch diameter Momo,no power steering and no problem driving or parking. Nothing like the original, but a lot more" body" room in the car.

Does anyone know the bolt spacing on the 6 bolt mounting arrangement for the Moto-Lita steering wheels?

It's about 2-7/16" bolt circle but it only fits the wheel one way as they aren't evenly spaced.

Hint, remove your center piece to access the nut holding the wheel onto the column by using fishing line. This saves scratches on the origional wheel.

Thanks Nick. That explains the unusual pattern.
