Question Contemporary Cobra frame # location

Hi folks,

can anyone tell me real quick where I can find the frame number on any CCX? Having learned pre-1983 cars have the frame build date stamped in somewhere I'm currently looking at 2 cars, both having a VIN like a classic Mustang or so (e.g. 6T45H345783, just for number and letter position). Both owners state the cars being pre 1983, one is supposed to be a 1980, but no tags visible.
To get a classic registration I need a proof of the car being older than 30 years, a 1964/5/6/7 title will not work.

Thanks for your suggestions!

Holger

I think its drivers side main tube just behind the A arm.

Default CCX frame number

I just imported two Contemporary Cobras to Spain. Both did not have the frame number stamped, which should be on the drivers side on the main frame tube just behind the back suspension post.
I stamped the numbers myself on the frame and those were the ones facsimiled for the registration.
