Default early ccx car torsion bar front end

has any one here had experiance with removing the torsion bar setup on a early CCX car? looks fairly extensive to me...look as if the entire front suspension will need to be fabricated.

Kugle Components used to make a coil over conversion for the torsion bar front end on the Contemporary cobras, they may have what you need , if not check with Curt Hamilton , in Van Nyes

Yes I sent Kugle an email to see if they make a coil over replacement for the CCX car. If I do buy the car John said he would help me install the coil over suspension and Crossover. Thanks for your input.

Of course I would like to sell it but what is exciting is to work on the car I was never able to build. It would also be cool to do a Tutor-torial on it. I haven't put one out in a few years so I would really look forward to doing it!

Before I sold my Contemporary, I was looking to do the same conversion. I measured the centerline of the 4" round tube frame on the Contemporary vs. the CSX and they were very close - I believe the Contemporary was a bit wider. In any event, had I kept the Contemporary, I probably would have put on an original style front suspension.

John, you are always welcome to come over and work on my car if you feel the need.
