Default Looking for a CC Cobra to buy

Dear members,

First of all, hello to all.

I'm a french guy who's looking to buy a good Contemporary Classic Cobra.

If you feel it's time to give your baby a new direction, let's discuss together!

First, you shouldn't be afraid to deal on export basis and be ready to let the car in the nearest intl airport from you home.

Here are the specs i'd appreciate on the car:

- Car with proven history and CCX registered before 1990, otherwise i won't be able to use it here
- 427 FE side oil (428FE could be ok)
- Toploader 4 or Tremec 5
- Wheels with spinners
- Metallic blue (can manage other colours if worth of interest)

If you think you have something which could suit, don't hesitate to let me know.
I've checked few websites before posting here and it appears that this should be the best place to ask.

I am serious, not a time waster, i owned few V8s before and need a Cobra for years now!
Waiting for your kind proposal.

why are you limiting you choice to CCX? there are a few ERAs available on Cobra country. This one is an early car probably around 1990
VERY nice car

Interesting ad! Thank you for sharing.
Any advice on the 428 compared to the 427?

Hi,

This car has 427 center oiler with a six speed
Tremec.

Solid lifter cam. Dual Holly carbs.

Jag rear end, currently replacing all brakes.

Tires need replaced. Halibrand magnesium wheels.

Paint is perfect. Chrome is perfect. I had the car repainted and all chrome rechromed with copper.

Hi Mark;

I would go only for SO 427, even here in France it is prefered as everything else.

TO probably runs perfectly too but you know how it is...

Thank you for your proposal.

Hi Harald, I've spent quite a bit of time driving my friends CC (build date 88-89, but just completed In 2019) this summer. His has a 428FE, 2X4's(Great Torque) with 4-speed Top-Loader, and I think you will be quite happy with a Big Block in one, the ERA's are a better Small block car (IMPO). You may have problems finding one with a 427 side oiler for your 55K though. Good Luck, Cheers Tom.

I have a blue CCX with a 428 CJ Richmond 5 speed, it was for sale locally but the deal fell through, the car was built in 1996 and is registered as a 1967 Ford, if interested my email address is gcelentano@northwell.edu i can send you a full rundown of the car with pictures.
Asking $50K but i have some room to negotiate.
