Default New Homebase for CC 3024

Hi everyone,

being new on that platform, I just want to let you know that the Contemporary Cobra 3024 is now to be found in Germany, registered as a historic car, up and running.
Formar owner was Lewis Downs, did anyone know him or knows sth about his car? Would be so happy to get additional information about it.

Best regards,
Manfred

I did not know Lewis Downs, but if it is the car I think it is, it has always been one of my favorites. In fact, I have a poster of it hanging above my desk right now and they are still available at Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Impact-Poster.../dp/B01NCLHWHS

Congratulations on owning such a beautiful Cobra. Enjoy!!

Is that CCX33024? I have that poster in 'pride of place' as well. A friend gave it to me more than 10 years ago.
I had always assumed that it was a CSX3xxx car

Cheers!
Glen

Yes, in deed that's my cobra, a Contemporary Classic one. Really great to hear, that you have the posters of it. Btw there was an article in the KIT Car Magazine in 1993 comparing Contemporary Classic Cobras to others, showing that they are the closest to the original one with that Cobra. I'll put some pages of the article into the gallery.

Cheers,
Manfred
