The picture of the car has the old roll bar, I lowered the new rollbars (2) by 2" and it is still 1.5" over my helmet, I am 5"11". I would post a picture, but don't know how to do so on the forum, if you would like to see a picture, email me.
Not sure why the old one was so tall, I thought it looked kind of odd.
