When XKs Unlimited was still in the Cobra accessories business, I purchased a set of steel shims that replaced the rubber Jag mounting gaskets, along with a set of poly bushings. It firmed everything up and the road feel is solid, without my fingers going numb after a long drive. I am considering a 14" leather wheel, however. Rich

I changed back to the original Jag rubber style steering rack mounts.I switched from radial TA's to Goodyear Billboards and the vibration was very bad.The Borgesen steering shaft isolator could not get the job done.With the rubber mounts I feel a little vibration until the tires warm up. As a note,the goodyears rubbed the rear inside fender flare lip (I have the wider rear axle on this car).The fix was a set of Qa1 adjustable coil overs with the original Koni coil springs.The car now rides better and looks great with the Billboards.
