It's an excellent car for this having all of the potential bugs worked out in regards to mechanical, brakes, and suspension work.....I do have to ask though, what type of hi performance driving/car experience do you have, as I've seen people get themselves in trouble with less than 300hp in these cars. Do not let yourself get caught up in a horsepower thing where you feel you must have a certain high number for one reason or another.........

I have done a lot of slalom and track racing when we had a track but they closed it down to make condos, its to bad i missed the one with the chevy v8 in it it looked perfect for what i wanted to do. ya the motor i built is a beast but it was originally going in my s code mustang a heavier car. but i sold it to a friend because he was begging me for it so now i have a way to power full motor to put into something and i all ways wanted a contemporary and i thought the best place to look is with the experts. thanks for all your help on this.

Yes, but never in a sub 2,100lb, 90 inch (IE: very short wheelbase) vehicle such as the Cobra....My advice is to start off with a lesser powered engine, get used to the car, the quirks of what it is and how it handles, then add a higher horsepower engine if you like. In these cars, you can only put so much useable HP to the street, after that the laws of physics take effect and the rest becomes useless for the street.

Herc you can find some pictures of the car for sale here http://www.cobranet.com/coppermine/d...?album=9&pos=8
If the car has a 20 year old title isn't that a lot easier to get into Canada?
