Can we assume you mean scoopless?, If that is the case ,I make a universal scoopless hood skin, never tried one on a CCX yet. You could be the 1st!

Get out the fibreglass and glass up the hole! Or fit this over it http://www.clubcobra.com/classifieds...t=2156&cat=500

Aluminum would be fine but if I go that route I would like a metal tube frame.
Did contemporary make a glass scoop-less hood?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe all CCX hoods were sans a scoop opening. The assembly manual gives instructions for hole placement and cutting.

My Contemporary had a moulded in scoop. I had the shop cut it off, glass over the hole, cut a proper oval shaped hole in the hood and mounted an aluminum Kirkham scoop on the hood with proper (?) rivet spacing. You can see pics of it in my gallery. After they glassed it up and before they cut the hole in the hood, it was a perfect CCX hood without a scoop or hole. It can be done easily by any shop with fiberglas experience. I know we all hate to hear the word, but look for your local 'Vette shop and have them do the work. They can easily do something like this with their eyes closed, it's really not a big job at all for a place that knows what they're doing.
