Looks good. I'm sure we're talking about at least $250,000+. Maybe even double.

PANAVIA or Steve Wood, has his shop in Campbell, CA, where Renovo's shop is also located. Steve is a big-time techy and a SPF Daytona Coupe owner, among his many other cars. So I wonder if he knew about Renovo or maybe even helped them with any of the build.

more money than brains venture capitalist. If u gonna make an all new electric American super car and charge $250K or more, at least make something from scratch.

I've driven replica Porsche speedsters and Miatas powered by batteries. They all have the same issues ten years ago as today- range and charge time doesn't justify the extra $$$

Will it even make it through the traps before needing a recharge? I can't image the batteries will last very long at WOT with that much power.

I doubt Renovo did a market survey on "who" would buy this car - maybe the Pebble Beach showing is just that. I'll put the price point at a conservative $200K, no thanks - would rather buy a fully loaded top of the line Tesla and pocket the change, or wait for the new Tesla Roadster due out in 2017 and save even more money.

Yup $529,000. Only 100 will be made!

Be very surprised if more than 10 are made at that price point.

I didn't see the price, but that better be an alloy body for $529,000. And there's no way they'll sell 100 of them. No chance.

I'm assuming that the Renovo battery life has got to be similar to the Tesla, roughly 300 miles.

Ut oh, seeing how the bodies are CSX9000 series from SAI, would these be authentic shelby daytonas? Powerplant has always been an option.
Well there goes the neighborhood

Renovo has been to Panavia, and they used our upgraded Brake Design. - they are a nice group of talented guys from their own sphere of motorsports, I am excited that they are using the Daytona Coupe as a platform for an Electric Supercar.

I will post some pics of my coupe from Pebble Week - we had a great time!

I believe Renovo is Bill DenBeste's customer (DenBeste Motorsports) a factory authorized Shelby American dealership located in Northern California - I see on our order spread-sheet that SAI sends all SA dealers 10 CSX 9000 cars/vin numbers ordered with the word ELECTRIC next it each CSX number

Not sure if they are fiberglass or aluminum though

Nice to see an electric car that doesn't look like a shoe box for a change. In the video I watched on You Tube they said the range was 100 miles. Now where I live here in the mountains I would suspect that would be more like 50/65 miles at most. I also liked the part about pit stops when racing and how it only takes 30 minutes to charge it.

But all in all I like the car and the concept. I just wish they could do something about the range and price. Also we have no places around this area to charge them except at home. One of the members of another site that lives in Canada said they had free recharging stations at some places there.

EDIT: To put video in post
