Default tire (tyre) aspect ratio

Hi, I'm new to the Coupe page but have searched it quite extensively without great success. I'm trying to work out what generally is the go for tire aspect ratios's on Daytona's. My cobras have always had a -5 reduction in aspect from front to rear but it seems that this is the reverse case on a Daytona.

I have found some Superformance tire specs are 305/45/18 rear, 255/45/18 front while in this article Carrol Shelby's own car Superformance 1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe- Kit Car Magazine

Ran Front (255/40R18) rear (295/45R18)

So it seems the aspect is to run a larger (taller) rear tyre. Currently my tires are 265/35 18 and 295/30 18 and it just looks under shoed in the rear.

Can anyone share their pics and tire sizes for reference.

Thanks in advance from Australia. Matt

Ride height now adjusted.

Will be going to the new AO50 s in a 295/35 rear to give me some more sidewall profile.

Wow 700+ looks.

I'm going with 235/40 18 on 18 x 8 and 275/40 18 on 18 x 10 with R888 rubber.

Should look like this.
