Default Get ready to wait...

I ordered mine on March 5th and still don't know when they will even begin to build it. I can assure you that it will be worth the wait, but just don't expect it to be done overnight. At least your shipping time will be shorter...

Garrett, I know SPF in the USA only offer rollers or turnkey minus. Does CTC offer them as a kit?? I would consider buying one (bringing it here to NZ) but I really wanna do it all myself. That would mean a trip to Aussie, to visit them as well.

Talking Kit

Think CTC are the official Aus & NZ Agents for Superformance, i have seen the Daytona that came over and its a Kit finished to a bout 80% then add Motor & Box, very very nice still have thoughts of changing my cobra for one if the rain keeps up, if you PM me with your address i can send some photos.

Best to speak to the direct though, Speak to Bryan White.

Regards Garrett

Damn, If I was to buy one I'd really wanna do it myself. Do you think they'd do a kit for me if I bought one???

If you *wanna* do it yourself, why dont you, I am. Dont know about "Blood Orange" on a Coupe though, someone might mistake it for a Monaro (Firebird for USA folks)

Monaro = GTO in the US. Makes you wish Harrop built intake manifolds for Fords.

Warwick Harrison is developing a Daytona kit at the moment. I've seen the body and it looks like it'll be a good thing.

Give him a ring to find out more about it as there's nothing on their web page yet.

Harrison Cobras

Cheers

Jac Mac, got your email about you're coupe. Sorry to be blatant, but, why are you sending this to me (maybe because I am a fellow kiwi??), I do not have a Daytona, nor do I intend on getting one, although I will admit, I do quite like them, and might build one if I had the time/money, and didnt have other projects.

No, definitely not blood orange for a Daytona!! The only choice for a Daytona is blue and white race livery.

Default NZ Daytona

Mark,
You missed the Superformance Daytona that was here in NZ, CTC brought it across the Tasman but has gone home now. Check out NZ Classic Car this month there's an artical and photo shoot of my Cobra and the Daytona; gota say.... that car was sensational! The finishing and build quality is equal to anything from any major performance/ luxury car manufacturer. It drives a whole lot different to the Superformance Cobra in that it's a more refined beast rather than wind in your face and the smell of unspent fuel. Anyhow, I'll be at Hamilton Motor show 17-19th March pushing SPF's with CTC.
See you there?

As usual uncle Mike is right ( doesn't it pi$$ ya off )

I've seen the Harrison coupe and dare I say I'm super impressed.

I saw it before chrissy ..body/chassis assembled and sitting on it's own wheels.

Don't know how far off being offered for sale but was getting close.

Worth a call me thinks.

Bruce, sounds excellent, I was disappointed that I couldnt make it to Kumeu to see the coupe and your car. Um, I will probably be able to make it to the Motor show in Hamilton, wont have my Cobra though, not quite finished yet!! Getting there though, look to have it ready by beach hop, althouh it wont have the Halibrand Wheels on it, nor will it be painted.

Hi Les,

I'll be back up in Brisbane towards the end of March. I'll have to go and have a look at Warwicks progress.

Cheers

Thanks for the warning Mike.

I'll warn immigration, customs, green peace and the Queensland Police of your pending visit.

Ohhhhh... I better tell the local breweries to increase production.

Default Superformance

Mark,
Sounds great, hope to see you....we could have a couple of cold ones. Your car sounds close, don't have to worry about paint and wheel type just feel the breeze!

Yeah, I'm looking forward to startin' her up and taking her for her first run. Dunno bout the cold ones, I usually only like to go to shows for a couple of hours then head home, especially since I dont find the Hamilton show particularly interesting, apart from trade stands, the burnouts, parts, and now the cobras and CTC.

Apart from yours, will there be any others at the show/will CTC have any cars there. I'd really like to see an SPF Cobra in the raw i.e. just the body and chassis (or rolling).
