Coupe rear view mirror

Gentlemen:
I am about 80% complete with my coupe and need some advise on my inside rear view mirror. I plan to mount it on the inside of the winshield toward the top with the best view. Is there a particular type of mirror (brand and part number) that works the best and what type of adhesive is used to glue it to the surface of the windshield? Any help on this will be much appreciated. Thanks.
