Toploader input shaft bearing about to go bad?

My bet is input shaft bearing or front clustershaft bearing.

What steers me away from that is the 4000 mile rebuild. otherwise I'd be agreeing with you. Either way, the tranny has to come out to find it.

I want to get the most heavy duty version of the bearing from a reputable manufacturer like SKF.

I still have the old bearings from the rebuild to take measurements, but which one is from the input side? I suspect the "bigger one" on the left (#6209N)

Can someone confirm this?
