how much is a rebuilt close ratio toploader?
I couldn't find it on the web site.

I called David a week or so ago and asked this question .. he was not able to price a rebuilt tranny at the time, due to scarcity of cores. The catalog page above cites the prices for 100% new transmissions, all parts now produced by DKT. Serious money, same as a new Tremec. But if you want a toploader and nothing else ...

If you are able to furnish a core, I suggest calling David directly for a rebuild quote.

goon morning,

unfortunately cores are even more scarce in south-africa.
It might be worth a while to make new patterns though.
And even upgrade the internals to a 5-speed, if that is possible.
