2013 North Georgia COBRA cruise

Lynne and I have assembled another Cobra cruise for this year whereby Day one is in Georgia and Day two is primarily in North Carolina. The host resort will be the Ramada Hotel & Conference Center in Hiawassee, GA which is the same location we used a few years ago when Dona Bopp made a guest appearance and gave us an evening concert.

Hopefully we can all get together Thursday evening for a meet and greet.

We will spend most of Friday cruising along some of Georgia’s best country roads. Our stop for lunch is at the Wolf Mountain Winery. I think we had a great time there on a previous run. The views are awesome as is the food. We can relax, taste some local wine and enjoy catching up with friends. Our return to the hotel will take us through the Richard Russell scenic highway. We will then get together for dinner at the Chop House next door.

Saturday is another cruise through some of North Carolina’s winding country roads. All roads are paved. The cruise goes as far as Hendersonville through back country roads and back to the Ramada.

In short I would ask the following:
1. To make your reservation at the Ramada call 706-896-5253 or 1-800-613-4349 and ask for a reservation under the name COBRA GROUP.
2. We have reserved rooms for Thursday through Saturday July 11, 12, & 13. The rooms will be held until July 1/13. The rates vary from either $99.00 or $109.00 for lakeside. You have a choice of Double or King
3. I need to make a reservation for lunch on Friday so please email me as soon as you can confirm you will be attending the cruise.
