Question Registering a Superformance car in Georgia (13-county region)

From what I've been able to read on the Interwebz, I'm afraid that I'm hosed, but maybe one of you fine, upstanding Cobra-lovers can help a fella out...

I'm looking at buying a Superformance vehicle that is currently titled in Michigan. The title lists the car as a "2006 Assembled Roadster" with a VIN that the CleanAir website would not accept as "valid" when I entered it.

And of course, I live in one of the 13 CleanAir counties.

If anyone has the Magic Bullet on how to get tags for this car, I would really appreciate the guidance. Many thanks for your feedback.

I bought SPF2729 in 2012 from a neighbor. It was titled as a 2007 year car and since I am out in the country I do not have emissions requirements. I recently went to the tag office to see if I could get the car registered as an earlier build based on the engine's age and the tag office checked with Atlanta and said no way. This is not a problem for me but I am trying to sell my car and this is a big problem for prospective buyers. Good Luck!

I know this is an old thread, but...recently...I just tried to transfer a clean FL title on my backdraft to GA. Car is titled as a 1965 Roadster. DMV said they would have to give me a salvage title, didn't care about the FL title, wanted the state inspector to look at it, and wanted the car then registered as a 2015 vehicle with a salvage title and they wanted it to pass emissions.
