Going to AMS 4/7/02 to run the infield course , and there is a street car class if anybody is interested. Also, may go to Sebring May 18th and run there too, if any of you Florida guys are interested in running your cars on the famous 12 hour course. This has to be as good an opportunity as Gainsville...Details at

John, I would love to go but this weekend my wife will be one day (if she is on time) from giving birth to my second little girl, Madison. Mabey I will make Sebring if I can find a trailer to put my car on. Have fun this weekend.

How much track time do you get for the "Track Time" events? Looks like fun and it isn't too far from me. After running at Gainesville, I'm hooked.

there are usually 2 or 3 groups running in 1/2 hour sessions. I have persuaded the organizer to make room for a separate class for "vintage replicas" if there is enough interest. This means that it would be up to the group to decide wether or not to convert to wheel to wheel racing in the future, but for now it would be track time with passing allowed in the straights with a signal from the slower car. It is a lot of fun. The next one is at AMS on April 7. Check details at

Cobras are allowed 4/7 at AMS. I am planning to go, with the possible exception that the SVRA (Sportscar Vintage Racing Association) is at Roebling Road the same weekend, so I must make a choice......
