Default Reptile Roundup schedule change

Saturdays events have been moved to Sunday!

At this time, we are still planning on getting together for dinner on Saturday night.
The catered dessert party has also not changed.
All info and maps will be posted at the hotels.

I will personally be at the Beef O Brady's on Saturday and greeting anyone who did not get this message. We will do our best to find you a place to stay for the night if you are unable to get into a hotel.
There are local Cobra guys with spare rooms.
Please do your best to get the word out to everyone of the changes.

Poker run is unknown,
Still planned for Saturday night if we get a break in the weather.
All other Saturdays events have been moved to Sunday.
Show to start at 9:00 and run till 3:30.

Bill, can you please keep this post at the top for us?

Feel free to call me at (813) 792-2414 or 765-3769

I'm not changing my plans for no damn rain, plus my Cobra would not feel at home in dry weather. The only place the Cobra see's dry weather is when I have it in the garage. On to Lutz.

Ed, I got your phone message yesterday, thanks for calling to let me know about the change in plans. I'm still planning on coming west later today. I'm hoping I can find a window of opportunity in the afternoon so that I don't have to drive through torrential rain....

Dan, don't forget to bring your little plastic boat so we can play with it in your footwells....

Mike

GREETINGS from SUNNY CALIF.
Just want you guys to know, the weather is just fine out here. Looks like you aren't quit so lucky for the Roundup.
I drove into LA last nite from Palm Springs, and I have never seen so many cars going in so many places at the same time. I don't know how they all do it, but somehow, they do. After this, I-95 is goin to be a piece of cake.
My only problem is I have to drive back to Palm Springs Tuesday and back to LA on Wed.
I can't wait to get home and the real world as seen thru my eyes.

Up at 5:30 AM anticipating the cloudy but dry weather for the 2.5 hour ride to the Round Up. But here I sit at 8:00 AM and the rain continues. The radar shows clearing starting in the gulf so those who made it to the Round UP yesterday may see some drying. I still hope to get luckey and will make the drive over if I can get a break before 10:00 AM.

If I don't get there today Iwill see you in Gainesville in January. It should be dry by then. But It could snow!!! With our track record maybe the DSCC should switch to vintage Aquacars instead of Cobras!

Watching the sky,

Jerry Miller

Well I'm back home from the Wet Round Up. I didn't take my Cobra because as I left the rains were coming by the bucketful. I did however make the trip up in my Blazer and glad I had not trailered the Cobra when I saw at least 6 cars flipped at the side of the route to Ed's. Cobra or no Cobra we must make these events because of all the time and effort that goes into an event like this, and we can't have a rain date. Getting together with the guys in the Deep South Cobra Club makes it worth all the wet underwear, ask CobraDoc. I found out that while I was gone from the Cape we had a total of over a foot of rain. After I warm up and change into some dry underware I will get back to a great weekend.
