Cobras and Holleywood

I was speaking to the Shell Valley rep that was delivering my car yesterday and he mentioned that Hollywood ordered six Cobras for two movies being made. There will be Cobras in "Fast and Furious II" and "Charlie's Angels II". They are going to wreck a few in F&F II. He said they almost wrote the Cobras out of F&F II script but instead left them in as bit parts and not the main scene.

Good news. There were too many japanese cars in F&F I. ...... But after having read your thread I'm afraid that they will play an important part in F&F II again. Who is the sponsor of this movie (Nissan, Mazda, Toyota, Mitsubishi, .......) ?

I'm not expecting much more from F&F II than I did from F&F I. And I didn't expect much from it. The import cars weren't so annoying to me (okay, maybe they were)... it was the acting, or the lack thereof.

It'll be nice to see some Cobras in it, though. As long as the imports aren't portrayed as being faster! Wanna bet the "bad guys" will be driving the Cobras?

You're right when I talked to Rich he told me only one of the cobras was for the good guy. 3 of them will be wrecked during the movie.

Great...now the ricers are going to see F&FII and think they can beat a Cobra. I'll bet the imports beat up on the Cobras in the movie.

Wait till the Civic guys see this and they will be reving the old fart tube every time they pull up next to us. If only we could hear them.

First they wreck a Charger and now some Cobras. Hell smash all the rice cans and save the classic Muscle cars as they are not making them anymore....oh yeah they do make replicas of Cobras.

Maybe we should make up a new decal for the rear end of our cars...where the ricers will see it...
