Default Finally got a Cobra.

Thanks to Kirkham Motorsports and their "no reserve" Ebay experiment, I am the proud owner of a real fake Cobra. I was fortunant enough to be the high bidder on the 289FIA/427 hybrid car. The car will be a "bare naked lady" with an aluminum small block.
I can't wait to be off the side line and in the game. If someone will teach me how to drive I'm gonna kick a little big block butt, too.
I guess I better set aside some time to go see Bill Parham. If he's not to busy building motors for those with "Napoleon Complexes" maybe he can build me a REAL motor! You know, one that will rev over 3500 rpm!

southernfriedcj,

You now need to upgrade the following:
Cobra Make & Engine: Little green Cobra(diecast) with a surfboard attached, I bought it in Maui

Your Cobra is no longer a diecast. Congrads.

Ron: I didn't know we had a NY chapter in the DSCC.

Carroll: I can't believe I missed that. Update on the way.

GA Snake, Hopefully I'll have it in a couple of months. I still have to decide how to have the car built and get down to SA and order a motor.

Ernie, I doubt I'll get any slack for having a real Kirkham. I'm getting the SB to suck up to Club Cranky.

Dr. John, Thanks, and I will need help with learning how to drive the d*mn thing.

KK, I guess I'll be barking for the next 2 or 3 months, but when the car gets here I will suffer from postus interuptus.

U2, Thanks, this will be the budget build of the year(heck, if I can scrounge a free aluminum block I could make the cover of Hot Rod magazine).

WOW!!!

Glad to see it go to a home here in the South, and to a great contributor on this site!! Cobra population seems to be doubling here in Georgia!!! Also, kudos to the Kirkhams for even offering it for sale like that!

SFCJ, you will need LOTS of driving lessons before you pick on the BIGBLOCK boys

SFCJ, if you want I can fill out the order form at Southern for you!! Always willing to help out.

Just make sure that KMP has extra heavy duty springs up front if I do the ordering!

Southernfriedcj,

Congratulations, I changed your profile from Enthusiast to Kirkham owner. You can fill me in on the other things as they happen.

SFCJ,
you got the hybrid that is setup for a big block in that 427 chassis. Why try to make a small block scream loud enough to keep up with the BB? Just get a BB and rumble past em'.

Congrats on the car.

Scott

TC, thanks, I'll have the first Cobra in my trailer park! I'll make the call to SA, thankyou very much, I need the smallblock to offset the weight of my gut.

Dan, thanks, I'll keep you(and everyone else) posted.

patrija, ya d*mn right!

HIQ, sorry, but every dog has his day and I finally got mine.

Scott, I'm trying to stay away from the Darkside. I must use the Force.

Jamo, I'll get the Jamo F350 spring option and the passenger seat delete, so I can take you for a spin!
