Post Lunch Ride

Well guys, how was the lunch meeting?

I recently changed valve covers on my ship recently--went to the high rise, polished "Ford Racing" aluminum jobs, thanks to my buddy Reggie, who had them left over from his recent prioject, which I had the pleasure to witness personally, and it's awesome. Details in a follow-up thread.

Took it out for a quick ride around the back roads just to check for leaks, since I had it up in the air. Decide to change the oil/filters since it was off the ground. I'm using the "Royal Purple" synthetic, which is what was in it, so stayed with that brand.

A little chilly today, but I was not out that long.

I think people are ready for spring---got more than average number of "thumbs-up", so folks must ready to get the toys out

Big Easy,

It just ended up being Hector and myself. Hector had his son with him and I picked up a friend who's visiting from Fla. Nice day, great malted milkshakes at USA Classic. We talked a little bit about the suggested North Georgia cruise end of the month. Any takers?

Hey Alex,

It was me. I certainly can't throw rocks when I live in a glass house. I'm also bad with names.

I was just glad to see another Cobra guy out that day.

Hi guys! It is short notice but there is a run up to the mountains leaving at 10:30 from Roswell tomorrow morning. It is a multi marque event but supposedly a a few of the Cobra guys were considering going.

Otherwise let me know when and what you want to plan for a drive later in the month or any spontanious run. TC, Chris Sloan and I met for coffee last sat(yes it was chilly!!) and then had a 2 hour run around before the realities of homebound duties took over!

Call me for details tonite if interested: 770-552-1680

Think of it as Automotive Therapy!!

See you! John

Thanks for the offer, but I won't be able to make it tomorrow.

I think that having an multi-flavored fun-run would be great. I wish I could attend, but maybe we'll have another soon.

Feel free to call or e-mail me as well if you put together a short notice meeting.

I can't make it tomorrow either, although I would like to get this thing out for a little exercise (the car that is!).
Anyway, keep me in the loop--the weather will be getting better, and opportunities will increase.
