Weekend fun in Atlanta?
It sure would be a shame to waste this weekend's weather.
Does anyone in the Atlanta area want to get together?
Maybe Sunday afternoon?

Joel, I was pondering some hot rod time myself. Saturday will be my day though. I've got to get on a plane for India on Sunday afternoon. Flying right over the Middle East there and back. Hoping for the best.

I may be up for some cobra commeraderie on Sunday, weather holding. Maybe a late lunch meet, then a drive around/to somewhere? I guess I'm the opposite of Tony R., Sunday is better for me. None the less, have safe trip, Tony!!
I'll check in tomorrow, and see who might be up for a meet.

Charlie,
I'm in the same boat as Sunday mid to late afternoon would be best for me.
Why don't we plan on 3:30 to 4:00ish at the Prado off Roswell Road. I know we met at there once before.
Of course, I'll need to clear it with the boss first.
Anyone else?

Tony, I salute you flying to India on a Sunday. I don't even want to think about that one too long. Sunday works better for me.
My docket reads: Sat: Son's soccer game and pics, wax SPF
Sun: take son to Model train show in Marietta, enjoy car.

Take I-285 to Roswell Rd. Go south on Roswell Rd for one block and it's on the right side of the road.
Hope to be there.

You guys have fun and post a pic or two. I'll be able to see what I missed from Delhi. I took a brief cruise yesterday and will hopefully get in a session this morning before I head to Hartsfield. My International excursions have become more painful since becoming a Cobra owner. But we have to pay for those puppies some how!

Prado??
Fellow DSCC's in Atlanta area;
Sorry I did not post this afternoon. A friend called Sunday AM, and wanted to go for a short bike ride, so thought I would be back in plenty of time. Of course it ended up much a much longer excursion than I expected. I think after seeing what a glorious day it was becoming, we got wrapped up in the ride.
I did'nt get back till after 3:00, and just ended up taking the cobra for a brief spin.
Anyway, hope to make the next meet.

Hector, I was there at around 2:59 or so, my watch (Citizen ) was off a bit today so I may have been even more early. I swung around the lot twice and figured no one showed. I called JW as he was thinking of coming and told him not to bother (I have a witness). Too bad only one babe fit in the car, as the Prado crowd was loving the Cobra scene Went over to JW's house and a friend of his showed in an FFR.

See what happens when you don't have me around to organize these things?
The weather here yesterday was WITHOUT flaw! Went for a 12-mile stint through town after installing new alternator and voltage regulator (yes, that's right... I fried another one).

Sunday
You are right Keith, we need your superb leadership. We should definitely try to get together before the little lady has child.
But not all was lost. My son was with me and we did the Buckhead ride. That place was packed and boy did we get attention. Specially when the beast would roar at 4K RPM thru the streets and the noise would echo from the buildings.

You guys are killing me! Here I am on the opposite side of our planet anxious to see some sunny new pics. And what do I get? Total social dysfunction. Afterall, this Indian TV programming is not stellar intertainment.
Keith, what's the deal with eating alternators? That sounds like a pain in the arse! Is that a big block thing or what?
Hey, and what's the deal with Chill and Randy? I can picture them both, stooped over a couple of rolling pallets with 5:00 shadows and bruised knuckles. Somebody needs to check on em.
Later,
T

Hey Guys,
It sounds like several of us went by Five Seasons but at different times.
I thought my spark plug trouble, which is actually probably a carb problem, was resolved until about 2:45 last Sunday afternoon.
Anyway, after turning some wrenches, I showed up at about 4:00 and only one other Cobra was there, Alex. Although, it's always nice to see Alex, things did not workout as planned that day.
