Default Clyde, sorry 'bout the bumper

Clyde, I think it's awesome the amount of research you're putting into your car. Extremely well though out. You'll certainly have exactly what you want. I'm sure your heart rate will continue to climb as you get to the moment of christening. We'll have some fun this summer.

And by the way, I'm really sorry about your wife's bumper. Good thing you had that Cobra blood stain remover handy. Let me know if it's a problem.

Default Bumper? What bumper....

Don't worry about the bumper, its leased and the wife could not even see the scratch after a little buffing. I felt bad about your car and I'm glad the damage was minimal...

....I'm ordering a right hand mirror for mine today

Question

OK Tony, what happened?

Don't tell me you hit Clyde wife's car with you Cobra ???

We drive up to Commerce, dodging 18 wheelers at near Mach I speed without an incident on Saturday and then Sunday you rubbed her car?

How bad is it?

Hector

Well, it's not that noticable unless the light is just right. I was backing out of Clyde's driveway and let the outer most lip of the rear fender flare kiss the bumper on his wife's SUV. I'm picking up a touch up paint kit on the way home today so I can do a little cosmetic repair.

Well, you and I know it's there. Along with no more than a few thousand members of this forum. But that's it! Actually, I picked up some touch paint, and with the help of my daughter's better eyesight, touched it up. Since it has all but disappeared, I have to decide if I want to grab some 2,000 grit paper and smooth it off a bit. The paint was a perfect match.

Then it's just our little secret...I won't tell a soul....

(Seriously, I'm just glad it was easy to fix, I felt bad about it)

What's to feel bad about watching a 50 year old guy crying like a kid who fell off his bike? I need to carry a cyanide pill with me for when I have a serious fender bender. Then again, fiberglass doesn't bend much does it?
