Default Latest Gainesville track dates.

OK, guys, get in while you can.

We have two dates for Gainesville.
1st date is October 18th (Saturday).
2nd date is November 14th (Friday).

The October event is limited to 22 drivers but we will have an additional alternate list.
First come, first serve.

Please send your $50.00 deposit check made out to the DSCC to:
DSCC
3668 Misty Woods Circle
Pace, FL 32571

The November date is for the "Reptile Roundup II" so I am not limiting this event. Having more than 20 cars on the track will influence the cost of the track. I'm still waiting for pricing as of May 6th).
For now, please send a $50..00 deposit for this event as well.
I will notify the drivers of the remainder of the balance as soon as I can. Hopefully, the price will continue to be $100.0 total.

I hope to see all of you who attend the October event at the Reptile Roundup II.
The Reptile Roundup II is still in the planning stages but it's looking like racing on Friday and a full day of a Poker Run for Saturday. !st stop will be at Big Daddy Don Garlits, Randy Hunters (for lunch?) 3rd and 4th undecided and ending in Historic Dade City for dinner. I'd also like to run part of the poker run that was planned for last year.

Any suggestions for the Poker run route / stopps will be helpful.
Sunday is a day dedicated to returning home or scheduling events if we get another rain delay.

More info to come.

Hey Ed,
Sign me up for the Reptile Roundup II, I'll be there for sure. I don't know about Gainesville yet because it falls on the Biketoberfest weekend. Wow Ed, why did you have to pick that date? Your really putting me on the spot here!!!

Guys,
Ruble takes care of the deposits and refunds.
I dont keep track of that stuff.
Please contact him and see if you still have money from previous events.
I cant say for sure that you will get your deposit back for last minute cancellations. Again please check with Ruble.

Thanks,
I hope to see you all at both events.
Please support your club.

Talking I'm in....

I'm in for both dates. Ruble has my check. I hope to see you all at the
annual meeting this Saturday night, if
my wife is well enough for me to bug out
on her for a few hours.

I'm in, the check's in Ruble's hands. Hope to see everyone this Saturday in Ocala.

I'll try my best to not use my smoke screen this time on the track.

I might have some ideas about the poker run. I'll check with the local car club for places they go around here.

Thumbs up I'm in!

Ruble should have my check already
Sure seems like along time away when you think that we haven't even got to Memorial Day yet.

Hey Ed,
Let's try to get some upgraded rooms this time, maybe at the Courtyard, or the Hampton Inn again. Maybe Dave from Gainesville can help secure us a good deal at one of those.
Remember, the Ramada jacked us around and wouldn't give us king size beds at their discounted rate. I'll bet all those damn middle schoolers got all of them and were getting lucky at our expense.

Mark,
Great. Glad to hear you can make it.
Ruble informs me of the participants when he receives the deposits.

Hey Ed, I didn't cancel at the last minute, I gave pretty advanced notice that I might not go to the last g'ville, and to apply my deposit for the next event.(unknown when @ that time) My tranny broke 3 weeks before the event and I told you then that I wasn't sure if it would be done in time. You told me it wasn't a problem that you could get me the deposit back from the alternate and I told you to just apply it to the next evnt's deposit. Do you remember now?
Ruble I didn't see my name on the Nov 14th list!!

Damn! I've got to get a trailer. I want to join in on all this track action, but I don't trust myself not to break something. Even though Jacksonville is real close, it isn't close enough if I blow out a transmission or something. . . I have just GOT to get a trailer! Isn't going to happen this time. Maybe if the weather is nice I will drive down anyway and just watch.

Charlie

You can watch only if you work as a pit crew member. This is more a formality but you have to sign a waiver that you are not spectating but helping with the pit crew.

Maybe you should go to roebling road July 1&2 and help me put parts back on my cobra as I break them.

Charlie,
Dont worry too much about breaking down. There are plenty of us with trailers that can help you out if something happens.
If you want to continue track events, it's wise to pick up a trailer.
Especially if you are running "R" tires.
Makes the trip easier too when you dont have to pack all your stuff in a little Cobra trunk.

We hope to see you in Gainesville in October or in November for the Roundup.
Send me a e-mail if you need info about the events.

Ed
