How about the story behind the picture. Details, we want details...

I'd rather be a submarine than part of a tree sculpture anyday!

Well, here is what I know.
Ed recently ruptured his achilies tendon and was wearing a rather large boot on his right foot.
Entering a very tricky turn, his foot slipped off the brake pedal and onto the accelerator.
Unfortunately, since we have had so much rain the past few months, many of the run-off areas were wet.
I was lucky enough to stay dry on my two off road ventures but
Ed Boothman was not.
Engine was running for a short period whilel Ed tried in vain to back her out of the bog. Wrecker came and pulled him out.
Ed pulled the plugs and they were dry...
Hopefully nothing bad happened.
What happens to the rotors when the cool too quickly..
Will they need replacing?
Ed

I knew all that damn rain we had this summer was going to cost us. Now when building a Spec Racer for Florida instead of side exhausts you need pontoons. Soon as we drain Lake Okeechobee we will have this coming year as the dryest year in history.

He is standing because the seat was under about 4" of water. He was a good sport about it and we all had a laugh at his expense.
Ed should have mentioned that this was the DSCC Gainesville track day. About as much fun as you can have and keep your pants on. Uh in Ed Boothmans case maybe he should have worn a Nomex Scuba Suit.
