Jimbo,
Just make sure you get plenty of practice between now and June.
Hey, have you fixed the heat issue in your BDR yet?
So, tell me why your afraid to race a Cobra these days....
Scared???

Hey JOHAN,
I hope you have the video from last year's event put together BY NOW! Man you Ga. guys are slow almost as slow as Ed's driving
My in car video clearly shows just how it looks when Ed's doors get blown off down the straight! Please bring my original tape as I would like to keep it as areminder on how NOT to take Turn 8!
If not done yet - LETS GET ER DONE! We need some entertainment at the bar.
I'm heading up to the mountains next weekend (end of April) and will going past Pooler and Roebling; any chance you guys might be running there then? I can arrange my schedule to drop in - maybe take a few laps in the Lola for ya? Doubt I will have room in the trailer for the Cobra this trip, as I will be bringing everything including the "kitchen sink" up there.
Carol and I will be "coming down" from the mountains this year; already booked into the Jamison.
Ed's bringing the grill, but I'm ready to cook up a storm Friday night.
TL (the Forester trainee)
ps. We took an idea from the Atlanta house fireplace and chimney, and got a turn of the century old wooden windmill to use in the new house.

Terry, we're running at Road Atlanta next weekend.
The problem with the video is that I no longer have a digital high 8 recorder, it is now in-car DVD and the High 8 is broken. I can't watch the old tapes until it is repaired and we are going on 2 months in the shop now. I have your tape and 99 others, so save some time for viewing at the Willis.

Johan,
Now I need to look at my map!
I might change my routing and swing by on Sunday to watch you guys run. I need to be in Campobella SC Monday morning, and am leaving here Friday or Saturday, depending on how fast I can load the trailer.

What's with all the "Blowing my doors off" comments.
And from Johan too.....
You guys are going to pay for that.
Time to get some race tires!
I'd feel really bad kicking your guys @$$es with street tires.

Oh - BTW - the video clearly shows #7 flying by the old #97 with race tires on.

Johan
Don't worry about Ed's doors as they were bolted on by professionals in South Africa, besides he is so afraid of scratching or blowing up his new baby that he drives like he is a retiree from Miami.
Johan it does not seem like it has been almost a year since we celebrated your son's birth but I am so looking forward to spending a few days sniffing octane 93(and higher) with all you guys. Maybe we should look into another event we can attend.
I would love to join the vintage car circuit with you guys but I do not have the money or enought free times to attend too many of these events. If I win the lottery does the offer still stand to have the cobras run at some of your events in a exibition class?

Ruble,no more running cars with wings and ground effects against you guys in Cobras, so I'm going to run the new, top secret "un-Cobra"in the "not -race".. It is very similar. Blue with white , but Chevy powered. small block no-less. 15" wheels. 2 seater. doors, lights, etc.
I feel it is time to even things up a bit.
Hope I can break 2 minutes and don't get in Ed's way.

Oh a riddle! Lets see what has a chebbie motor, 2 seats, doors and lights? My guess it is not a Corvette as that would be too plain for Johan. Could it be a Beck Lister like the one that was there last year?

All right you knuckle-heads.
There will be retribution for all the slow driving comments.
June can't get here soon enough.
Just make sure you all practice the "wave-by" gesture.
You're going to need to use it often when I'm on the track.
On second thought, pick yourselves up a set of dumbell weights and start working out those arms. I want to make sure your capable of performing all those wave-bys.
Now I'm not 100% sure, but I heard a rumor that Terry and Ruble dont need to worry about weight training. They already have a method for working out their arms
I recall them saying they "worked out" nightly.....
And to refresh your memory, Blue Flag with Yellow stripe means "Get your slow @$$ out of the way and let the faster 97 car pass".
BURN>>>>>>

Ed
I make it a point of keeping all my toys broken in. You on the other hand are so afraid of breaking yours you are fixated on Terry and my versions of self love. That is so sad.
Please try to refrain from groping the Hooters Girls this year.
P.S. If you do manage to get a wave by don't forget to turn right in turn 8. Terry can tell you why that is important.
