I've posted an entry list on a new thread. Let me know if you want to switch to the Yellow Group, as I know some of you do.
The Yellow group is a misnomer because it is a brave person that accepts his status as a beginner on the track. A smart and healthy person too.

Johan I may switch to the yelllllllooooow group as I have not turned a wheel on a track since 1984 plus I see J.O. is in my group and I'll be damned before I share a track with him :JEKYLHYDE :p

Sorry GS - but I am going to the yellow group - it's my color. Do you need to crash at Brokedown Palace while at the Willis? Help cook shrimp and crab and it can be arranged - if you share the track like a true redneck - that theer damn lane is miiiiineeee.....
Last words of Fireball Roberts.

Yeah GS, spend the night. You can have my bed at the brokedown palace as I'm not going this year but 2006 you may be sleeping with me (it's really not that bad according to my wife).:JEKYLHYDE

The dock views are great and it's not everyday you can stay with Doc Einstien himself!;) Just don't send a thank you note earlier than 8 months - it would make me look bad!

Anyone from Atlanta have extra space on their trailer for me to stuff my Cobra on to the Willis and back? If so I'd pay expenses and be very appreciative!

First shakedown cruise completed

Last winter I decided to do some major restoration to my car. The body came off for paint. The engine came out for some new seals. The suspension got all new shocks, ball joints and bushings. The fuel cell, fuel lines, oil lines, oil cooler, radiator, steering column, power steering cooler, clutch, brake lines, electrical lines and instrument panel were all replaced. ... From the beginning, the plan was to have everything back together in time for Willis 2005. So my goal was to have it back together by May 1, allowing two months to debug any problems. Off course, the painter took longer than expected and other unexpected problems arose, so reassembly was finally completed today. I just finished the first shakedown cruise and brought home a short list of additional work to be done. With a little luck, I'll put another 250 miles on it and have any significant problems resolved before next weekend. ... If it weren't for the lure of the Willis 2005, this job would probably have taken two years. Thanks Johan.;)
