I'll be there at Waterford Lakes next weekend - but I'll be driving my T'Bird
instead of my ERA.

Was in Naples last Saturday, and Lake Mary the weekend before - man, Winter in Florida is fantastic. Never driven any of my cars in January or February before.

Will be in Pensacola for their big Mustang Show March 22 - they usually have a couple Cobra replicas, and there is a blue original 289 slabside that shows up sometimes.

Stop by & say hello if any of you get to Waterford Lakes or Pensacola.

regards,

Jeff

Jeff,
I was in Naples also last Saturday for the Ferrari clubs car show and there was a sea of red cars, Ferrari red cars. There was also a show at St Armand’s Circle the same day in Sarasota put on by their local Ferrari club where CSX2367 was on display by its original owner a 289 Cobra.

BEH, its on the east side of Orlando. Just north of the 417 on Alafaya trail. You can't miss it.

There was one original '65 Shelby GT350, and one original 289 Cobra at the show in Naples. Both were very nice.

Also saw Neill Ressler's (retired VP from Ford SVT) Ford GT, a one-off version in Dark Metallic Blue with Silver stripes (standard production was Blue with White stripes).

Saw a couple nice T'Birds, including a white '57 of some fellow Detroiters, and a yellow "E" code (that's a factory dual-quad 'Bird).

Nice show. Went to an even bigger show this past weekend at Waterford Lakes Mall outside Orlando. No real Cobras, but lots of Cobra replicas, lots of Mustangs, and several new Ford GT's.

I'm really lovin' Winter in Florida.

Jeff

I live in Florida the year round and in snowbird season you can go to some car show on a daily bases but I was hoping with this really bad economy there would be far less people to get in the way of my camera lens when trying to get pictures of these cars but with the large throngs of people at these events I have a lot more pictures of arms and legs than cars.

It was a pretty good show. I was hoping to see a BDR or a Superformance. saw a few FF's and a Shell Valley.

Reg Dodd was at the Naples show and had all kinds of BDR cobras as a dealer and his latest was a no stripe model with a brand new Ford modular crate engine for an economy type cobra, he also had their new GT40 replica. There was a really nice SPF coupe with a Roush stack injection engine and many others.

There is a get together of about 130 cars tomorrow (Sat. Feb. 28) in Lake Mary, lots of different stuff from GT40's, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Vipers, Corvettes, and Nissan GTR's and usually a few Cobras. Cars and Cafe, check it out http://www.orlandoautomotiveclub.com/cars_and_cafe.html or www.orlandoautomotiveclub.com

Thanks, I've had it about 3 years now and love it. We even drove it in the Fireball Run last Oct. No top, heater, or radio. Left Orlando and drove to Baton Rouge then all the way to Grand Rapids, Mi. It got real cold!! But we had a blast!

Yes, planning on it. I need to get some clear coat work done on the front of the car. Long road trips mess things up. I'll take it to cars and cafe tomorrow stop by and say hi.
