Especially for the OCC club, but anyone that may want to make the trip.
A new and important sponsor for our family is coming on board, possibly in a big way. Are you familiar with "Darby Dan Farms"? Galbreath organization?
We have been "invited" to what was once a privately owned(Galbreath's) airport to hold one of our events. They are also looking at us, to see if our group is worthy of sponsorship.
DV Jr. and myself have a meeting with them, at the Darby Dan Airport, now called Aviation Specialist next Tuesday at 1 PM. What was supposed to be a meeting with the general manager, Randy and myself, seems to have escalted. They have called in all the Big Dogs for this meeting! CEO's, Dublin Corporate, and a host of other people to talk to us. (They didn't tell us it has turned into a major meeting!)
Truly a LARGE step for "us"! Our plan was to simply show up, present our case and see what happens. Then Jr. and I thought since they are so excited about this event--already asking us to book the DVSF V, it would be great to rumble in in force, vs. just showing up.
They have no idea "WE" are coming. hey, FAIRS--FAIR!
And, I would obviously like to show them what the Fling is all about. It is worth a half day off of work. It would certainly be appreciated, it WILL help our family take a big stride.
We will meet at my shop, then take the 15 minute cruise to the airport. I suspect the meeting will take 45 minutes, or less if you want to show up then cruise off.

To all of our Cobra family, please don't think this is limited to just OCC members! I address this here simply because these guys are the closest. By all means "everyone" is invited!
