Its interesting to hear a voice from the other side of the pond and what they are dealing with in a realistic sense, we Americans tend to react with emotion, and with good reason, the threat is here in our own back yard, addressing it now as the Brits do is what we need, but as London says, weeding out the small groups of bad guys is the next logical step rather than the "Hitler had the right idea" expressed by certain members of this forum.

That "Hitler" comment is a carry over from a dumb comment made in the lounge (see "interesting municipal code") that I reacted to in a strong and noisy manner, computerworks works shut it down justly so....enough said.
Sorry for the misdirection of this thread.

We'd better keep an eye or more than that on this dude and those like him. Anyone who's ever had an infestation of termites knows that the quicker you deal with them the better. But there are the "Neville Chamberlins" that are making excellent ostrich imitations and roadblocks to the few who want to reel in this dude.

Hello Al and all you other Cobra nuts, I'm Crockett and i have just joined your fantastic forum. I live in England and work in London. I meet lots of different people every day and lots of Asians, most of the time you wouldnt know if you was talking to a muslim unless they told you or you were in a mosque. Of all the muslims I have met they have all been very polite and horrified about the actions of the minority extremists (which, lets face it, Islam is'nt the only religion to have them) Unfortunately extremists are active in UK but our security services have foiled a few big operations and hundreds of "non-headline catching" ones as well that the media don't mention.
I would'nt say muslims are taking over the UK or building mosques everywhere so dont panic yet.
This is a bit heavy for my first post on here but I felt I should throw in my opinion  |
