Does your remote interface with the spring water bottle?
|
Not a Perrier bottle but the Persian rug is a nice touch for bleeding.
Anything less significant you can think of to make a post with visual aid? |
No Runs, No Drips, No Errors...
... other than snapping this pic before I put the return spring back on.:p

Counselor- a couple of serious inquires.
Did the scattershield come with such a large cut out? My Lakewood's is much closer to the fork. I was gonna ask if your banjo fitting and 90 came pre-oxidized as a joke but I realized I've seen other areas of your chassis and fasteners showing light surface rust. I'm wondering if that bag you store it in contains or captures moisture. Do you put desiccant in it? If you inflate it with compressed air, then that's where moisture gets in-and stays for the winter. Jus sayin'... |
Nice job! It even looks like you cut too much out, but I'm sure you need the clearance. You know. That saying. Measure twice, cut once.
Or in my case, Measure once, cut twice, maybe thrice. |

As you say, photos can be deceptive. So I have to ask, in your last photo it appears you do not have locating dowels in your bellhousing?? Or is that hole for a different application??

Mine leaks enough oil to keep surface rust at bay.

Well Chas, you'll love this. I took a tool inventory and was missing a 7mm box end wrench. Couldn't find it anywhere... until, yep, I looked a on the slave bleeder screw. It was still there, pointing straight up at 12 o'clock, even had the black cap over the tip and everything. :p Oh well, there goes my head mechanic's job....:o

Take heart - at least you have the finest legal mind since Curly Howard!;)

Studying this particular thread, one can see how easy it is to accumulate nearly 13,000 posts in this forum. Maybe I should get fired from my job, invest in a decent digital camera and buy a car that I don't drive? j/k
I am curious what cleaner Patrick uses to wipe down the various components? No streaks and no dust residue. Meticulous cubed. |
