Next on the agenda, Keisler T45. The crossmember on the car will have to be modified.
The wheels I heard are Trigo, there were no markings beside the word COBRA cast on the backside. They came with the kit with the factory offsets except for the rear, which I eyeballed and decided they could use an extra .5 inch removed. Tires are 245/60 front, 295/50 rear. |

Good move on the increased backspacing. Upon measuring mine, I found that they were 3/8" off (3.5")of the 3.88 specified by ERA...so are you saying that they are now 4 3/8 or so now? I had mine machined to the 3.88 dimension before installing a fresh set of 275/60's at the rear.. Looks like you fitted the Firestones?
Really like the push button starter addition.
Also, I see your surprise comp seat color choice thar.... 
And finally, what brought you to the T45 as a gearbox choice? Seems many go with Richmond or Tremec....(no judgement here, just wondering as I'm not that familiar with the Keisler dog box.) BTW...good move on the HTOB. I really like mine.

I have a TKO in a Mustang and not too impressed with high speed shift quality. Keisler markets the T45 for its shift quality. It is rated for 400 ft-lb and cost about a grand less than a TKO. |

Pull the main & idle jets out & check the sizes. I was told the same thing from another company, yet mine came with stock jetting & chokes.

Big day today.
All went well, if to do it again, I would install bell housing after the engine is installed. Would then be able to drop engine straight down. There is plenty of space at the rear of the engine bay to install the bell housing. |

Yea, I know, 95 lbs worth. It looks like ERA installs the transmission before the dash which would allow use of a sling on the trans. But that would make wiring the dash a little more difficult. It was nice to reach up in the open trans tunnel to gain access to the back side of the dash.

I Can't remember if I had my dash in when i put mine in. Not that it would have mattered, My garage is so narrow & old that a sling would have been dangerous. Looks good! You're moving right along! First drive soon?

That trick thing you did with the push button start..was that something you wired up or did ERA mod their harness for you? I might like to add that feature to my bucket list of "enhancements". I'm not an electrical wiz, so I'll see if I can figure the wiring out from the pic of the back of your dash you posted earlier... I'll let you know if I get stuck..
When you joining the black wheel club? I wish you were closer....I'd be slinging my wheels over to your place so you could see how awesome it would be...
