Mocking up how the tail pipe will look on my FIA. Using the ERA supplied under car setup, with tail pipe exit before the rear tire.
With the car on the ground, set the tail pipe in the approximate location it will be when attached to the muffler. The tail pipe angle and length set by ERA. The portion of the tail pipe that connects to the muffler will need to be trimmed.
My plan is to keep the tail pipe tip cut square to the pipe (not a slant cut) and to have the entire system flat black.
Questions:
- Anyone have photos of their car with a similar setup ?
- How far to let the tail pipe tip extend from the body ?
- Tail pipe attachment to the frame (photos) ?
