Jag Rear End

Hello Bob,

Without getting into a long story of why I'm going to attempt a Jag rear end rebuild, could you shed some of your wisdom as to what exactly I need in the way of Jag parts for your FIA kit.

Is this correct so far?

Jaguar Rear Suspension Assembly w/ Limited Slip 1968-1974 Jaguar XKE, Series 2, or 1968-1983 Jaguar XJ-6 complete (but w/o trailing arms or emergency brake compensator). Need all hydraulic and emergency brakes.

I prefer the 1968 and later units because of parts availability and easier (cheaper) access to Brake & Hydraulic parts.

So I don't end up coming home with something that won't work, anything I missed?

Those spec's will cover it nicely. You can use any Jag rear with inboard brakes - the later the better.
