Of all the Christmas parties I am invited to, the ERA party would be first on
my list...were it not for the minor detail of the distance from San Francisco
to New Britain.

Very disappointed that I was not able to make it out. Did anyone get some pictures they wish to share? Perhaps a couple of a in progress slabside?

Rats. Didn't see this post until today. I would be interested in pictures of an in progress 427SC, with a silver colored powdered coated chassis!

Default ERA 385 From 2015 Holiday Party

Thanks to ERA for another excellent holiday buffet.

Pics are of ERA 385, a SOHC 427 car recently repurchased by Peter.

Very good turnout, although I did not attempt to count. The only 427SC in progress was a white one, ERA808 I think (from memory). Did not see any other SCs or slabsides in the main room. Sorry I was too busy talking to take more photos.

The 427SC in progress is mine. It's black right now, but I plan on painting white with blue stripes. Peter sent pictures to me a couple of weeks ago. Body has been bonded to the frame, and many of the aluminum panels have been installed. Not sure when it will be eeady for paint.

Great party, great turnout, spoke to several ERA Cobra owners as well as fans. Also a couple of GT 40's, one brand new w/Gurney-Weslake engine, and of course, Peter's SOHC Cobra. Always great to stop in at ERA, especially at the Christmas party. Oh yeah, the canolis are out of this world...
