Default February drive in ERA 717

It was unseasonably warm today and decided to take a drive so that I would not have to follow Patrick's advice and roll the car back and forth to avoid flat spots on the tires.

Here is a link to a short video. You do not get days like this in upstate NY in February. Sorry for the shakiness of the video, do not own a go pro, so I had to hold the camera in my hand.

She does sound nice It was a beautiful day. Wish I had more time to take a longer ride around the lake, but had to cut firewood and work on remodeling the bathroom before watching the Super Bowl. Thanks.

Same here on the West Coast. The wife and I took an hour and thirty five minute cruise. Saw the sunset at the beach and drove on the empty cool freeways at night. The Brain Drain, er, I mean Super Bowl is a great time for a drive.

Wonderful - makes me realize what I missed on the couple recent warm days we had. But how did you hold the camera, steer and shift all at the same time?

It's a secret Dan Having large hands is a benefit sometimes. Get out on the road and stop tinkering!

Well you did a good job - for a free hand camera mount it was very steady.

That almost looks like a summer day. Oh well, spring will be here soon for the rest of us.

Almost. It is amazing how warm it can be in a cobra when it is 40 degrees out. No more rides for a while, we are getting 6-10 inches of snow over the next duple of days. Back to typical upstate NY weather.

The deeper the snow, the more traction you get

Ask how I know
