Default Footbox Air Cable

Does anybody have a source for footbox air push/pull cable replacements?

My passenger side cable is seized from corrosion near the battery tray. I thought I would be able to remove it, buy a universal push/pull cable, attach it to my existing knob, and reinstall. From closer inspection it looks like the knob/cable is one assembly and I'll have to buy the whole thing. I'm looking for the "correct" replacement so that the knob matches the others.

post a picture of the knob you're trying to match. There are multiple types in use.

Sorry about the focus.

It could be universal for all I know, but if ERA provided them with the kit or recommended a supplier (I don't see anything in the manual), then it's a good bet that this is of that type.

It looks like the barb that comes out the back of the knob is crimped onto the push/pull cable wire. I may be able to undo the crimp and replace the cable but I'd like to see what my options are for purchasing a replacement before I start destructively modifying this one.

That knob doesn't look familiar. We currently use a cable from millsupply.com, part number 17-406, modified with a different (scripted) knob.

Also, if it's of any importance to you, ERA can provide the cables with an accurate reproduction of the original fluted pull knobs and with lettering on them. They cost a little more than the standard knob cables. This was the case from several years ago and Strictlypersonal can verify if they still use both styles.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll try to fit a new cable to the one I've got and if I can't make that happen I'll replace both sides with your suggestions so that they match.
