Default ERA front turn signals - screw on to twist off lenses

In addition to my previous thread about the ERA round tail light configuration, I would also like to find out what it would take to convert the street style screw-on front turn signals lights to the competition twist-off style.

Is the change a simple swap; or, would 'glass work be required because of differences in the cutout size?

Again, I appreciate any information on the above.

I believe the pads on the body are the same.

That's good news! So, it sounds like it would be just a parts swap then.

At most, you may have to drill new holes for the screws.
