Default Don''s Cobra Show: Building an ERA Cobra

I'm starting a video series about Cobras and me building my ERA 289 FIA Cobra kit. I'll use this thread to post links to videos as I make them, along with a brief description of the video so you can decide if you want to watch it or not.

(newest videos on the top of the list)

Episode 3: Jag IRS Output Shaft Assembly Rebuild
Length - 9:22 Posted 4/27/2019
https://youtu.be/hGanlyRcdag

Episode 2: Salisbury Differential Rebuild with Dana 44 Carrier and Gears
Length - 36:30 Posted 4/4/19
https://youtu.be/liKP0u3jTdk

Episode 1: Jag IRS Hub Rebuild
Length - 17:19 Posted 2/23/19
https://youtu.be/6n71TNpDULc

I do not have the car yet, just a deposit in with ERA, so there might be a little bit of a wait between videos, but I'll try to make sure to come back to this thread to post them when they're done.

Any constructive input on the videos is always more than welcome. If it's in my power to be doing a better job, I'll try my best to do it.

Don's Cobra Show - Episode 1: Jag IRS Hub Rebuild

Just over 17 minutes.

The video is a little dry but if you want to see what goes into rebuilding a Jag IRS hub give it a watch

Thank you. I have to admit, the shop isn't mine, it's where I work. I'll probably keep doing smaller projects there because it's where all of my tools are, but the larger stuff will all be done in my garage at home which is nowhere near as accommodating.

That is a great video and will sure help a lot of people that may want to rebuild their rear end hubs if they have that type. Thanks for sharing it.

Don,

Two thumbs up!

That's a very good how-to video!

Thanks,

Tom

Don's Cobra Show, Episode 2: Salisbury Differential Rebuild with Dana 44 Carrier and Gears, is up and running. Pretty boring and dry and I had some technical difficulties with the camera mid way through, but there's still some good info in there for anyone one ripping into one of these differentials.

Don's Cobra Show, Episode 3
Jag IRS Output Shaft Assembly Rebuild
Again, it's pretty dry. Don't expect a ton of entertainment value here. This is more of an extension of the diff rebuild video, but I made it a seperate video in case someone only has to rebuild the output shaft and replace a seal or something like that.
