Question Catalytic Converters and Street Exhaust?

Can the ERA Street Exhaust for the FIA be modified to support Catalytic Converters? Or do I need a custom exhaust collecter/header?

I love the FIA Street version, but I want to be completely Smog legal (PA Reqisatrion - and I may want to drive this baby more than 5K miles a year).

Also does anyone know who makes the ERA street exhaust? A buddy of mine (who is building another manufacturers kit ) would like to investigate using the street exhaust for his 427.

BTW...will ERA be bringing a street model to Carlisle?

Many thanks in advance.

Chris,

We have no standard setup for cats, and it might be a bit of a project to install if it has to be close to the engine. Different collectors would have to be made. If you can stand having the cat 40" downstream of the head, it will be fairly easy, although the final muffler will have to be at the rear of the car.

Our street exhausts come from two sources - one company for the collectors and one local guy who makes from the collectors back. The ERA chassis' are designed for undercar exhaust from the beginning, and our chassis are a bit "weird". I doubt that our exhaust is going to fit another car without major mods.
