Default 289 Comp Windscreen????

Dear Bob,

Since ERA builds the most 289 FIAs, I figured I'd ask you....

Where does ERA purchase their 289 FIA windscreens?????

I'm thinking of buying one and most parts places like Cobra Restorers only sells the 427 version.

Any help is appreciated.

John,

Actually, the factory 289 FIA used a standard windshield that "accidentally" laid back more than usual. If you're talking about the USRRC windshield, I think that we make them ourselves.

Bob,

Thanks for the reply.

I am speaking about the small windscreen as on Joe Rodimista's ERA, #142 car. These are different than the 427 screen.

So, if these are made in house, I can call Brian and order one???

OK,
We now have the corrected, recorrected, and rerecorrected spelling, John still wants to know about the windscreen.
Please help him out before he steals the one off of my car.

Thanks,
Cranky

We're nearing closure now...

Bryan can be e-mailed at brybdp@aol.com for parts questions.

Folks:

Joe "RoadaMaster's" windshield is a cut down version of ERA's USSRC windscreen which I have on my car.

See: http://www.erareplicas.com/cars/holden2.htm

Joe cut the upper edges off to round it off. His looks like a WWI fighter.
