Default Help Bob

Bob Putnam Bob I put the Griffin Alum radiator in the car.
I need a new upper hose for the inlet?? need a napa number, pep boys gates?? The inlet is bigger than the brass rad's ( top )
The nut inserts for the top bracket, They go to the glass body or do you side a piece of metal inside the cowl of the nose to bolt the bracket too???
Is Pete coming to R&G????
The main fan is mounted to the top of the new radiator??
Thanks got to go Rick Lake

Do you have the radiator for the hard connecting tube? (The outlet points up, not diagonally.)

See the installation instructions here.

Is Pete coming to R&G????

That decision is usually made about 2 hours before it absolutely has to be.

HI Bob The upper inlet is at a 45 degree angle going up.
The mounting worked out fine.
The fan is mounted to the old radiator with 4 spring loaded mounting clips These don't unscrew the the supports are to far apart for the mount holes on the brackets. How are you doing it?? Thanks Rick Lake

The upper radiator hose is Gates 20819 or its equivalent.

We have changed the brand of fan since your car. I've never tried to adapt the old style to our bracketry, and I don't have drawings of the old fan so I can't design them...

I will e-mail you with the brand and model of the new fan - it's available from several sources.

Bob:

What do you mean Peter makes a decision 2 hours before HE absolutely has to... in my experience its usually about two weeks after I have asked him to make a decision and since these little outings usually involve me, we wait and wait until there is a mad rush to get it together and go. Cars are being worked on as we roll them in to the trailer, etc. etc. and I'm getting too old for this. Lord knows Peter is way too old for it.

Jim

Default Sighting around Indy??

Jim Holden Jim I heard a rumor the there was a sighting of Scut Farcus in a GT-40 around Indy this last weekend. He was testing a new GT-40, it was in camo. Since you know him best, any truth?? Leaving monday for St Lious for wed's morning. You could bring the FIA Russian and the vette. You could bring Bruce. Got to go, I will try to find out about that sighting Rick Lake
