ken,

i use hydro throw out and replace it once or maybe twice a year. undo the dzus fasteners on the tunnel pull a bit, twist ,and pull out thru cockpit. i don't even need to pull the seat.

hope you've figured out who this is and which car i am speaking of (see my 2nd sig link

of course I know who it is

glad to see ya stopped by....

do you have the external hyd to brg with a clutch fork? or the internal unit? The external sounds to be a whole lot easier to service....no tranny removal....

actually no fork as such. internal hydro throw out tilton. tilton triple 7 1/4 " clutch pack. clearly not for street use. just had to razz ya bit when i saw it was you

tranny is out and the culprit was the line which was not secured and contacted rotating internals....

here is a photo of the t.o. brg. and I'd appreciate feedback to see if this is good, or should be replaced with another type of system which is more reliable....
