My old Austin Healey 3000 was key to turn on, and button to push for the starter. The button was not close to the key and looked a lot like any other regular kind of button on the dash.
The good thing about this was: Several different times for various reasons others need to start the car. They could NOT figure out how to do that! I began to realize, this was a great theft deterent!
