Default Brake Lights

Bob

You recently sent me a new brake light swich. I am noticing that the brake lights come on only when I press hard on the brake pedal. I see this on other ERA's also. Any fix for this?

There must be some variation on the trigger value of the new switch. The lights on the cars in the shop come on at about 2 lbs pressure to the pedal. I will send you another switch.

Bob,
Last year I too recieved a new switch and I also have a light problem. I passed inspection but the problem still have the problem with the lights. I also have 2 split primary exhust tubes and 1 broken weld on the my headers. The 2 split are #3 down the center and #6 just past the flange weld. #4 is broken loose just above the colector all the way around the tube.
I was wondering about this and if the headers and exhaust pipe are only supported at the engine and the rear mounting bolt if the stress of hanging bracket and the flex of the engine may effect the exhaust header? Any help or insight with the lights and replacing the headers would greatly appriciated.
Thanks,
Corky
