Will 335/35-17 Fit ERA before number 530?

Bob recommends the max size rear tire to be 315/35-17 before chassis 530. After that the 335/35-17s will fit OK. Has any ERA owner successfully fited the 335/35-17 tire and wheel to their ERA Cobra before chassis 530? I REALLY respect Bob's info but I really want to run the 335/35 for more sidewall.

I am already running a Trans-Am rain tire that has a section width of 13 11/16 inches and a diameter of 26.3".

If any ERA owner is running a 335/35-17 I would like to know the wheel rim width and backspace specs.
