Fan Thermostatic Switch/Brake Master Cylinder

Can someone tell me where the Fan Thermostatic Switch is traditionally located on an ERA - I'm still dealing with a fan not working problem and I now need to look into that element.

Also, where is the Brake Master Cylinder?

Yes, lame questions - but I'm trying to do some stuff myself without knowledge or help.
