Vinyl Adhesive

The vinyl on my rear bulkhead access panel has come loose around the edges. I reglued it several months ago with 3M spray adhesive but that didn't last. Any suggestions on what works best? Thanks.

I used a brush-on gel contact cement from HomeDepot for some vinyl work.
Just make sure you coat both pieces to be joined and let them dry before pressing them together. With brush-on, you need to put it on smooth, no lumps.

3M or Permatex weathersrip adhesive in a tube. It's a commercial grade of contact cement packaged in a tube, used by the pros.

I've got a tube of the 3M weatherstrip adhesive, but it never occured to me to use it. I'll give it a try, thanks.
